Dr MacLennan is a Specialist Anaesthetist at Auckland City Hospital His clinical interests include ultrasound guided regional anaesthesia, cardiac evaluation for non cardiac surgery, anaesthesia for vascular surgery and liver transplantation. He is currently conducting a prospective audit of the saftey and efficacy of ultrasounded (US) guided nerve blocks and has runs frequent ultrasound workshops.
